Lactarius Imperceptus
Cap is white and brown. Cap is 3 cm. around. The stalk is 2 cm. long. I could not find a spore print for this mushroom because nothing showed up on the black or white piece of paper that I put the two identical mushrooms on. NOTE: to find the spore print I put to similar mushrooms on two different colored papers ,black and white, and for this mushroom no spores appeared. The reason why my team and I decided to go out and find mushrooms is because, we wanted to identify mushrooms and wanted to learn about mushrooms before it snowed.
The mushroom lived in the woods near what I suppose might be either Maple or Birch.
Kingdom: Fungi Division: Basidiomycota Class: Agaricomycetes Order: Russulales Family: Russulaceae Genus: Lactarius Species: Imperceptus
