Gibsmithia sp.
Also known as Red Algae, Crust Algae, Jelly Fingers and Jelly Bubbles. As plants, they generate their own food. They grow to about 3-12cm in length.
Found in small bunches of soft, gelatinous lobes on stalks that are buried in the substrate (coral or rocky reefs). Widespread in the Indo-Pacific region, at depths of up to 50m.
I see this a lot around here.
