Forficula auricularia
The common earwig (or European earwig) are insects from the Order Dermaptera (which means "skin wings"), Family Forficulidae. They possess characteristic cerci, a pair of forceps pincers on their abdomen. Their hindwings are membranous and folded underneath short forewings.
