I'm glad to help, but this is not Carausius from India. I keep a Malaysian Phasmid at home with the name Diesbachia tamyris, which looks very similar to this animal on your picture. So I figure, they are closely related but I don't know what species this is, i can just tell you the Tribe they are both in.
