Description:

Small ray about 20-30 cm in lenght,upper surface light greyish-brown, with pattern of scattered dark spots and lines, as well as light dots on disc; a constant large circular eyespot. This one was young specimen but it could grow to about 70 cm in lenght.

Habitat:

Endemic to Mediterranean inhibits coastal waters to about 300 m depth.

Notes:

Endangered species.
