American Green Treefrog

Hyla cinerea

Description:

Alas, a green treefrog! This individual lives on the back corner of my house. He seems to have staked out that corner and comes out at night to hunt bugs by the back patio lights. On the ground below, coastal plain cricket frogs and southern toads dominate. But up there? Up on the house walls? That's the domain of the green treefrog #winning. Heh. ~ janson jones, http://dusttracks.com
