Nearly two inches in length. Spent the day resting on the south-facing wall of our Tampa home. Any help with ID would be appreciated.

I don't even know how much are 2 inches ;-)... But from the form of the jaws I would say it is a fishfly and not a dobsonfly. But you have to check which species is in your area. My suggestions would just be a hint for looking further.
