FYI, the Noah part of PN stands for Networked Organisms And Habitats. We are trying to establish which organisms are found in which habitats and when, and to track changes in habitat caused by human intervention, natural disasters, etc., so it is very important to us that the habitat field contains the correct habitat information for where the organism was spotted and not what sometimes out of date and/or incorrect books/web pages etc., tell us they should be found in.
The Description should be of what you actually saw if it is an unidentified organism with details of size, habits etc. which may help others to give a correct identification. You may also use it to describe how you came to see it, if it is already identified. Description from other sources are not what is wanted , that is what the reference links are for. Hope this helps.
