Phelsuma dubia
This day gecko has a body colour varying between grayish green, grayish brown and bluish green, and its tail is bluish. A rust-coloured stripe can be seen extending from the nostril to the eye. The back has reddish coloured dots. A gray lateral stripe extends from the eye to the hind leg. Not as colourful as other day geckos, but doesn’t deserve its name!
Trees, lowland vegetation and buildings. A daily visitor to my balcony and room in Zanzibar.
Distribution: west coast of Madagascar in the general area of Majunga, Comoros, Zanzibar, and some coastal areas of mainland Tanzania.
Lat: -6.16, Long: 39.19

Thanks Goody! Yes you do wonder about common names sometimes :-) I guess this guy is unfortunate as there are more colourful species in the genus Phelsuma...
I'm sure it's already been said, but I don't think there's anything "dull" about this beauty. Great shots!
