Description:

About 48 centimetres long, it is mostly olive-green with a brilliant orange under its wings and has a large narrow curved grey-brown upper beak.

Habitat:

Kea, is the only alpine parrot and can be found in the alpine regions and in forests in the south island of New Zealand.
