This is a beetle of the family Cerambycidae, characterized by the long antena and strong chelicera. These specie have very long front legs and a very distinctive elytra pattern.

Habitat:

Humid tropical forests of South America.

Notes:

Collected at the Maquipucuna Biological Reserve.
