cat eyed snake

Leptophis ahaetulla

Description:

small green rear fanged snake that eats frogs, frog eggs etc

Habitat:

river's edge

Notes:

Willis our local guide, kept trying to move away and was saying "snake in boat." We assured him snakes were smarter than that. I'm pretty sure he wished he'd never found this for us!
