Western Leaf-footed Bug

Notes:

Observed the little guy (and a few friends) in the first picture in mid-September crawling on a fence. A month later, I observed the little guy in the second picture in the same location. My assumption is that the first is a nymphal stage and the second the adult.

Picture's a bit on the blurry side, but it looks like a Western leaf-footed bug.
