This structure seems to have a cap. This looks like a seed pod to me.

okay.. But I doubt its a Gall. It clearly look like plant's part. Any chance its to be a fruit of this plant?

Gall is Pupa of a Insect... So its ID is Gall.. category is Arthropods..!!
