Only a few types of spiders can get that large.
If it is a Jumping Spider, I think it can easily get the world record for being the largest jumping spider !

The river was about 5 km.
I didn't know we can see jumper spiders here!

that is one dead bug! it was most likely killed by a bird. This it not a Tarantula, they do not live never rivers. more likely this is a big jumper. They like wet places. Tarantulas like dry places.
