4-6 cm. katydid with a mottled green/gray coloring that mimics the lichens growing on surrounding trees.
Found on trees in the forested riparian zone of the Amazon river and its tributaries.
Perfectly camouflaged among the trees. Typical resting position is head-down, with legs held close to body.
