Dione glycera is not in Costa Rica, so it should be Dione moneta. However, looking at the pictures of caterpillar of Dione glycera I would say that this fits quite fine with your shot. I can't judge the differences between several instars of both Moneta and Dione. Looking at the link above you see as you can see in most Heliconiini a great phenotypical variability during a caterpillars life. The orange patch above the white area is very confusing. This is clearly shown in your shot and in Glycera. I checked other Nymphalidae and found no similar match for Moneta or Glycera. So, in my eyes it must be Moneta from the geographical range and Glycera from the phenotype. VERY confusing!

I used Dione sp., I think is better if we are not sure about rigth specie
