Mordellidae sp
Ah, yes, when I was in NZ I saw Manuka honey for sale and wondered about what was in it. Beautiful plants.
Hi Clive. In Australia Tea Tree is a common name for a wide variety of Melaleuca plants/trees. Because some were used medicinally by aboriginal people, and some were used to make a tea-like concoction by white settlers (in the absence of actual tea). What species do New Zealanders call 'tea tree'?
H Christiane and Argybee. I'm pretty sure it's a Mordellidae sp, just not sure which one.
Nice part of the country Christiane?
Looks like a hopper maybe a bit like this http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_...
except that should be on eucalyptus.
