Antlion Adult/Antlion Lacewing

Description:

This bug is about 1.5" long. I haven't seen anything like this here before. It is max 1/4" wide. The shot was taken at night and the reflection in the eyes and the wings really surprised me.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest in NW Costa Rica 9 weeks into the 6 month dry season.

I think it is an Antlion. It helped me to notice many san pits from the nymphs. I have posted the wiki link to the same.
