This owl took up residence in a crack near the roadside left by last summer’s drought.
Usually abandoned Prairie Dog burrows as it’s also known around here as the Prairie Dog Owl.
Love the series! Especially the first pic. The look on the owl's face is priceless. This would make a great pic for a caption contest should PN ever decide to host one.
Lovely spot! We saw these in Marathon keys Florida living in the storm drains!
