Turkey Vulture (immature)

Description:

A large dark bird with long broad wings and a featherless red face. They often glide in circles with wings tilted up in a slight V shape. The feathers along the trailing edge and wingtips are paler, giving the wings a two-toned appearance.

Habitat:

One of two on neighborhood roof top.

You have an immature Turkey Vulture here, check out the photos on the bottom of this link. Skinny head, large nostril looking thing on the bill, golden edges on the feathers, wings held in a strong "v", and a longer tail in flight. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/turke...
