Description:

Annual plant of the blue bellflowers in the family Campanulaceae. It can reach 20 cm high. Endemic of Spain and Portugal. Perennial herb. Erect stems up to 20 cm. Oval shaped basal leaves. The flowers are situated at the end of the stems. The calyx has 5 linear shaped lobule. Corolla is bell shaped and blue coloured, up to 20 mm long. the ovary is underneath the rest of flower pieces. The fruit is an erect capsule.

Habitat:

Prairie in high mountains above 1900 m. Parque natural de Sierra de Gredos
