Known for its characteristic hopping, they can also fly and walk!
At different times of the year, I see these kind of green grasshoppers all over the yard. They seem to love to munch on plant leaves and flowers.
I found this particular grasshopper holding tightly to this flower head as if it were saying "You can't have it, it's mine!"
