Description:

Family: Sphingidae. Genus: Hyles. Length: 1.50 inches (38.1 mm) with tail. Coloring: Variable, but this one has pink head, black tail, black, yellow and white with large black blotches. White stripe. The tip does not sting.

Habitat:

Meadow near lake.
