Glycaspis brimblecombei

Description:

A minute scale insect densely covering the leaf with white or pale yellow scales. The scales leave a messy wet looking substance over the leaf. This spotting includes an ant that feeds on the sugary honeydew produced by the lerps and a cluster of eggs.
