I divided them into sets, These were perching in our Oak tree, the others in the Holly. They would whirl up in a cloud and circle and come down again clinging to the edges of the tree.
Rather nomadic except for when they are nesting.

What lovely birds ! - I just read this about them on Wikipedia
"When the end of a twig holds a supply of berries that only one bird at a time can reach, members of a flock may line up along the twig and pass berries beak to beak down the line so that each bird gets a chance to eat"
