Japanese pittosporum

pittosporum tobira

Description:

this seed pod are of a very common bush sometimes used in place of a fence. Madrone? When the seed pods split open they reveal the most beautiful reddish pearl like seeds stuck on a star like platform. The seeds are sticky and remind me of a mini pomegranate.
