Low herb to shrub with brilliant red to orange flower heads

Habitat:

Coastal plain; it's fairly salt tolerant and so grows at Robinson Preserve on the higher elevations just outside of the salt pans

Notes:

Growing alongside the Spoonbill Trail at Robinson Preserve
