I got this spot on break at my work today. I think this maybe a fungus I'm not sure. If someone could help me out with this. My family and I are having fun learning all these new things.

Looks like a lichen. Have a look at parmelia sp.
So would that be a fungus?
I believe that is a kind of lichen I'm not sure what kind tho
