Ectophylla White Bats

Ectophylla alba

Description:

Small white bats with yellow ears,(about 8 cm long), These bats are found under leaves of Heliconia sp , that they cut along the principal vein, forming tents, The sunlight filtered through the leaf which gives their white fur a greenish reflex. This hides them if they remain almost completely still.
