Slime Mold

Description:

Yellow, gelatinous growth. This growth appeared in less than 24 hrs. The fourth image is from day 2 where orange starts appearing.

Habitat:

Growing on exposed shaded roots of dying Avocado tree after recent rain.

Notes:

Another slime mold was found on same tree on different root that was white and grew in a ball shape.
