This is a very old tree, which shows a lot of diffent signs of life. There are lichens on it, different kind of holes (i guess even mady by different lifeforms). Allthough the trunk looks like near to death, there are also fresh branches and they start to build leaves allready. (to be seen on the last shot of the series)
