This lichen was growing in small cushion-shaped (pulvinate) clumps about 5 cms wide on the ground. The pale green-grey branching body showed small fenestrations or openings as can be seen in pic 2.
Spotted growing on ground - open scrub with mixed a natives.
This lichen is native to Australia and new Zealand.
