Flower beetle

Description:

A beetle with blue elythrae, the body seems to be orange or orange-red beneath. Some 25 to 30 mm in length.

Habitat:

Seen on okra flowers, in semi urban setting - not clear if feeding on them or predating aphids or something similar. Seen in central Nigeria, agricultural plain.
