Cotoeaster lacteus
Spotted in a granit cliff, mixed whith other invasive plants,i think is a toyon but i would like a confirmation http://www.google.pt/url?sa=t&rct=j&...
I read:)i'll never tried this kind of thing before research much more, never, but if Ava say that toyon is poison to mamals,it was because the information was peraphs about other cotoneaster. But i promise that i only tried if i had ALL the information about, not only a breaf conversation here:)i'am afraid of eating bizarre things, only if i se someone do it ,no problem
I'm not taking the class yet, but i will in the next year. I do no you must NOT eat Toyon berries -- they are toxic to mammals.
@Thanks seema for one more id
@Thanks Emma you allways have a nice comment for us,that is very nice :)
@Ava i'am allways learning here,i remember that i have another spotting of toyon or cotonester from my beginig here and you id that one for me and told me that the indian people toasted them and eat it,i have intentions of trie that recepy one of this days:)
Ya..initially i was totally confused with all the red berries...now I can well identify cotoneaster, toyon, pyracantha, brazil peppper and nandina berries
This is so interesting because the berries look like toyon and like pyracantha, but the leaves say Seema is correct.
i thougth that holy's had the leaves whith pics ,pointed pics, the berris are very similar almost the same, but these leaves are a bit diferents
