Description:

C. pistillaris is a club shaped fungus that grows during summer and autumn under hardwoods. Its skin color is ocher to brown. When mature its length reaches 10 to 30 cm and its width reaches up to 6 cm. It has a pale yellow spore print and weak pleasant smell.

Habitat:

Found in Belgrad Forest, a mixed deciduous forest located in Istanbul, Turkey. Approx. elevation:150m
