Description:

Also called Herb-of-Grace, Common Rue is native to Europe and Northern Africa. The oils from rue can cause a skin rash when exposed to UV light. Common Rue is a host plant for Eastern Black Swallowtail and Giant Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars. Shown here in flower.
