Tyto alba
Lifer, and one I've been trying to find for a very long time! A friend tipped me off on the location yesterday, and I went out there today and there he was :) Brown, elongated body with a white, heart-shaped face.
Found under a bridge on the side of a highway at a picnic area. He flushed before I even saw him, and flew into this tree and posed nicely for me! Mostly mixed-grass prairie.
