Yellow Unicorn Entoloma

Entoloma murrayi

Description:

Yellow mushroom with a pointed cap that was slightly sticky. Yellow gills and a pale yellow, hollow stipe that was white mycelium at the base. It was approximately 11cm tall and seemed very fragile.

Habitat:

Found tipped over on the ground in a mixed forest.

Notes:

This mushroom is inedible and potentially poisonous.
