In Brisbane Insects one similar to this is known as a Pink Planthopper-Colgar sp. http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_.... This one has more pink and looks more like http://www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/fulgor/s... Unsure how the eyes in the examples relate to the eyes in live images such as mine. They are green in the museum example and black in the live one

Looks exactly the colour of leaf tips & new leaves I've seen on some plants.
Excellent. Puts the ubiquitous green ones to shame.
