Wandering Spider

Cupiennius sp?

Description:

Large spider, about 15cm leg span, brown with irregular darker markings on cephalothorax and black first leg segment; small abdomen (probably a male) also with darker pattern. Found this guy at night among leaf litter. Due to the thick legs, again I thought of Ctenidae... Any suggestions welcome.

Habitat:

Rainforest on the Osa Peninsula, near the Corcovado National Park.
