Look on Amazon or Ebay -ebay usually has on old edition of Covell's moth book-it's not cheap-been out of print for years.

Here is another moth I need help with. There is much speculation over what it is:

Walnut Sphinx:

One-eyed Sphinx:

Twin-spotted Sphinx:

Thanks for the professional help.

I can’t seem to find a good moth ID book. I have looked up the one by Wagner, but did not find anything. Do you know of any others?

There is an excellent one on caterpillars though by Wagner...many good moth photos in that.

It helps to have a good book-wait-there aren't any good books anymore...I go by my OLD moth book-so I often get the OLD scientific names..not the new ones.

I can try to help with things that are also native to here. I'm really a reptile person who has been learning moths for like --forever. LOL!

@Seto: could you help me ID some of my moth spottings? You seem to be an expert in this field.
