te ostrich has become so perfectly adapted to high-speed running that is the fastes creature on two legs. at speed of up to 44mph ( 70km/h),it ca easily oustrip most enemies. ostriches eat mostly plant food, but occasionally feed on small reptiles.their eggs are largest laid by any living bird,Females lay 6 to 8 eggs incubating for 45 days

central and southern Africa in areas of low and medium vegetation
