Description:

Lottia digitalis or the ribbed limpet is a species of sea snail, a true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Lottiidae. These limpets are usually found on the surface of rocks in the high intertidal region on the coastal fringes of the north east Pacific Ocean.

Habitat:

On a rocks during low tide at a Sonoma County beach near Bodega, CA.
