Archilestes grandis
I discovered a Great Spreadwing damselfly (Archilestes grandis) near a vernal pool in the forest at Huntley Meadows Park. This individual is a male, as indicated by its coloration and and terminal appendages. Great Spreadwing is a species of damselfly formerly unknown to occur at Huntley Meadows Park.
