Caladenia carnea
This lovely pale pink orchid was about 20 cm high. The central sepal was erect. The lip had 3 lobes with red bars. Base of the flower stalk was dark and hirsute. Leaves long and slender.
Spotted in a nature reserve - wet and dry sclerophyll forest
This orchid is widespread within this shire.
Tubers used as food by indigenous people.
