Loasa sp.
High Andes.
There are a lot of South American Loasa sp., most called "Ortiga", but they are not related to the Urtica genus also know as "Ortiga" they are from a complete different order of plants. I have no knowledge of Loasa being edible or medicinal.
Thank you Augustin! I've wanted to know what this was for a long time!
Beautiful spotting by the way.
This is ortiga, don't know the actual species, but it certainly is a Loasa sp.
