White-winged Araneus

Araneus albotriangulus

Description:

A female spider about 4 mm with bright yellow and white "wings" on the front upper surface of the abdomen. The front two pairs of brown hairy legs were folded over the cephalothorax and the other two pairs tucked underneath.

Habitat:

Spotted in a national park. Said to build loose tangled webs in shrubs. Occurrence record:
