Looks like dried chillies to me.
I have started to take pictures of living creatures since I joined Project Noah.
And, I now live in US, so I do not have any pictures of "biodiversity" related from Japan. I do visit Japan, so when I go and find some interesting pictures, I will add it in your mission. Thank you very much for asking.
Rieko, don't know if you ever go to the big island of Japan, or if you have any spottings from there, but I just started a Mission, Biodiversity of Central Japan, so if you have anything from there, I'd love it if you joined and added them.
