initially indistint taste maybe a very little bit aromatic but then bitter. No distinctive smell. Clavulina cinera or C. corraloides? My original ID was bitter coral Ramaria fennica

thanks for the tip again fungi, I'll update if I find out any more from the sample
Not a Ramaria, probably a Clavulina sp.. Perhaps C. cinereus, but needs to be checked in the microscope.
